How do I set a hold?

A Temperature HOLD is used for maintaining a fixed set temperature indefinitely.   It bypasses the program and will stay at the same temperature forever.

To enter Hold mode, the thermostat  must be in Cool or Heat Position.

        1.Press “HOLD” in the lower left hand corner of the display.  

If the mode switch is in Heat, you will then see “Heat Hold” at the top of the display which tells you it is in Hold mode.

If the mode switch is in Cool, you will then see “Cool Hold” at the top of the display which tells you it is in Hold mode.

Now, you can set what temperature you would like to set it at:

        2.Touch the big temperature digits on the right with your finger once.

        3.You should now see the temperature flashing with the word SET next to it.

        4.Quickly, while the number is still flashing, touch the up and down arrows to change the temperature to whatever  you want it to be.  It will now stay at that temperature forever.

        5.To get it out of HOLD mode, press HOLD again and the unit will go back to Heat Mode or Cool MODE. 

Note:  “HOLD” will be displayed at all times in the lower left hand corner; this is your control button.

Just because it says HOLD in the lower left of the display does not mean it is in HOLD mode.  You have to see the word HOLD at the top of the display to be in HOLD mode.
