What is the air filter reminder, why is it flashing?
When you see the word “Filter” flashing in the display of the thermostat, it is simply a reminder to change the filter in the blower of your heating\cooling system (totally separate from thermostat).
Please refer to the manufacturer of your heating\cooling system to find out how to change this filter. This feature does not affect the operation of thermostat in any way.
If you wish to change the FILTER Usage Monitor:
- Hit “Menu”
- Hit “Scroll” twice – will say “Set Review Filter Usage”.
- Hit OK
- Hit “Next”, Reset will appear
- Hit Next to advance to filter menu.
- Use Up& Down – Set # of Hours – Anywhere between 1 hour and 2000 hours.
- If you would like to disable the filter feature, set to 0.
- Hit Exit
