The temperature scale of your thermostat can be converted between Fahrenheit and Celsius
To change the temperature displayed to read Celsius vs. Fahrenheit:
-
- Look on the circuit board to find the dip switch table in the lower right hand corner.
- Look for the column that has F in one block and C in the other. Look down and note the dip switch number (“3” in this example). Now look on the circuit board for a black block with small white dip switches. Use a pen or pencil to move this switch to the opposite position.
- UP = F (Fahrenheit)
- DOWN = C (Celsius)
- Now press the small white button on the circuit board labeled “Hardware Reset”
- You will have to fix the Day & Time. (all other settings will stay in memory)
- Put the front half of the thermostat back onto the wall.
