How do I switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius on my thermostat?

To change the temperature displayed to read Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, (or Fahrenheit to Celsius):

  1. Take the front cover off the stat off the wall.
  2. Look on the circuit board to find the dip switch table which tells you what the dip switches are for.
  3. Look for the Row which has C in one block and F in the other.

The default value is Fahrenheit – OFF/DOWN. All temperature values are displayed using the Fahrenheit scale. For Celsius, the position needed is ON/UP = C.  This setting displays all temperature values using the Celsius scale.

4. Now look on the circuit board for a black block with small white switches.  Use a pen or pencil to move the jumper the opposite position.
5. Now press the small black button on the circuit board labeled “Hardware Reset” (Do not hit Software reset, this will return your program to factory defaults).
6. Finally, put the front half of the thermostat back onto the wall.
