How do I set the calibration?

If you wish to adjust the displayed temperature up or down, there is calibration feature in your thermostat.  Although it is factory calibrated and should not need to be changed, you can adjust it to match a different thermometer in home.

To adjust calibration, perform the following:

  1. Turn temperature mode switch to “OFF”
  2. Hold down both the “Up” button and the “Down” button for approx. 5 seconds.
  3. When a number appears in the display, let go.
  4. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to change the number value between -5°F (-3°C) and +5°F (+3°C) degrees. 0 degrees of correction is the default setting.

For example:  Putting this adjustment to – 2 will lower the display temperature by 2 degrees.  Putting this adjustment to + 2, will increase the displayed temperature by 2 degrees.

The maximum amount you can calibrate the thermostat is plus or minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit. (plus or minus 3 Celsius)
