Philadelphia, PA, Jan. 10, 2016 – LUX Products Corporation today announced that Jim Mills has joined its team as the new Director of Business Development. Mills brings with him a deep expertise in the thermostat and controls industry and a solid track record for building retail and numerous other distribution relationships. He will report to President and CEO Rob Munin.

“As we develop products for specific markets and opportunities outside of our traditional channels, Jim’s expertise establishing strong distribution channels will help us and our partners be successful,” said Munin. “His experience within the thermostat and controls market is key as we continue to expand our relationships with retailers and distributors.”

Prior to LUX, Mills was a key executive at an Austin-based tech startup that developed one of the first Wi-Fi thermostats. His deep background in sales and marketing, coupled with his ability to build multi-channel relationships will enable LUX to expand its channel strategy and bring its innovative products to the forefront in the HVAC and consumer communities.

Mills graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston-Downtown with a BBA in Marketing and resides in Magnolia, TX with his family.
