There are four periods for each of the 7 days of the week, for both Heat mode and Cool mode. They are: MORN, DAY, EVE, NITE. ALL 4 periods MUST be set for the thermostat to function properly. Select either HEAT or COOL with the Temperature mode switch. These same programming steps for all four periods below must be performed independently in both Heat and Cool modes.
NOTE-1: This model has a user option to use only TWO periods instead of the default of FOUR. In the 2-period configuration, all of the following steps are the same except there will be only DAY and NITE periods present.
NOTE-2: This model has a user option to be either programmable or non-programmable (manual). If the clock or period times are not shown, check for this setting.
NOTE-3: This model has a 5/2 programming option. FOR 5/2-DAY PROGRAMMING OPTION: You will set all 5 weekdays, Monday through Friday, in one combined process. After the weekdays are complete, you can advance to set both weekend days, Saturday and Sunday, in one combined process.
