How do I set the periods per day for my thermostats schedule?

For this model, the screen must be lit for any button press to be effective

The thermostat comes from the factory set at 4 periods per day.  This allows you to program 4 different start times with 4 different temperatures throughout the day.  If you are home all day and only need 2 changes per day, you can simplify the programming steps by changing the thermostat to only 2 periods per day.

To change the Periods per Day:

  1. Move the System Mode switch into the OFF position
  2. Then hold down the SET button for approximately 5 seconds until the screen changes.
  3. The menu will always start with item #01, and is advanced to each following item by a single press of the NEXT button.
  4. Advance to Item#3;

ITEM #03 (PERIOD QUANTITY):

[1] (default) 4-Periods. Thermostat uses four periods per day (called MORN, DAY, EVE, and NITE).

[2] 2-Periods. The thermostat uses only two periods per day (called DAY and NITE).

Use up/down button to select between periods. To exit program, move slide switch or wait for program to time out.
