Can I switch between 2 and 4 period programming?

The thermostat comes from the factory set at 4 periods per day.  This allows you to program 4 different start times with 4 different temperatures throughout the day.  If you are home all day and only need 2 changes per day, you can simplify the programming steps by changing the thermostat to only 2 periods per day.

To change the Periods per Day:

open the front door on the thermostat. Setup options for how the thermostat will function are performed using a menu on the display screen.

To Access the Setup Menu: Move the System Mode temp switch to the OFF position, slide switch has to be in Run, and then hold down the EMER button for approximately seconds until the screen changes.

The menu will always start with item #1 which is Clock format.  Press the Next button three times until you get to menu item #4.  It will say either “4P” or “2P” at the top of the display.  Now press either the Up button or Down button to select the number of periods you desire.

Wait 10 seconds and the thermostat will return to normal Run mode.
